Hi! I’m Melanie, wife to my college sweetheart and mom to our one-year-old son.

I started this blog because, over the past year, our family of three has grown and learned so much. It’s been the most fun, rewarding, and eye-opening year of our lives and I know the journey is just beginning. By sharing our honest experiences and favorite finds, I hope to help and inspire other growing families along the way.

As a first-time mom in 2025, I know how overwhelming it can be. There’s so much advice out there, and figuring out what works for your family isn’t always easy. I will be sharing the products that helped us survive through our first year and the ones we still use today.

Beyond parenting, I’m passionate about home decor, especially making our space feel warm, functional, and stylish on a family-friendly budget. I’ll share favorite pieces I own, new finds I am loving, and even wishlist items. Need help with ideas or want a custom mood board? Just ask!

And let’s not forget style, which has shifted a little bit after becoming a mom. I’ll share affordable, comfortable, and cute outfits that work for millennial moms on the go.
My husband will also pop in with occasional posts for the dads, covering fashion, hobbies, and other manly things from a dad’s perspective.
